Barcelona and Cambrils attacks: a Moroccan expelled from Spain

The Spanish Interior Ministry has expelled Said Ben Iazza, one of the three jihadists convicted for the attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils on August 17, 2017, to Morocco.

Spanish media confirmed the information, specifying that Ben Iazza was expelled six months ago after the authorization granted by the National Audience following the request of the national police who requested in April 2023 the expulsion of the jihadist for his alleged participation “in activities undermining national security”.
