Bad news for Moroccan artist Karima Gouit

The Moroccan artist Karima Gouit was sentenced to two months in prison by the Marrakech court of first instance for insulting a security agent at Marrakech-Menara airport.

This conviction follows an incident that occurred on April 18, during which the artist allegedly insulted an airport agent. Arrested by the police, she was presented to the public prosecutor and placed on provisional release on bail of 5,000 dirhams.
