Bad news for immigrant workers in France

In France, illegal immigrant workers are immersed in uncertainty because of the ongoing political instability, the new immigration law and the tougher measures brought by Bruno Retailleau, outgoing Minister of the Interior.

At the call of numerous organizations, including the Magistrates’ Union, the CGT (General Confederation of Labor), the Human Rights League and Cimade, demonstrations intended to “denounce the migration policy at work, particularly towards undocumented immigrants” are planned for Wednesday December 18 in France.
