Azzedine Ounahi’s mea culpa: the Moroccan international explains

Azzedine Ounahi has officially turned the page on Olympique de Marseille (OM) to begin a new chapter in his career at Panathinaikos. In an interview with his new club’s channel, the Moroccan midfielder acknowledged his past mistakes and expressed his determination to bounce back in Greece.

Ounahi did not mince his words regarding his time at OM, admitting that he had not worked hard enough and that he took full responsibility for it. “Last season was complicated for me with an injury and personal problems that impacted my performance,” he explained. “I did not work hard enough and I take responsibility for that. I will not repeat these mistakes, with a new mentality.”
