Azrou hostel at the heart of a scandal

The services of the royal gendarmerie of the city of Azrou, in the province of Ifrane, arrested around ten people in connection with a case of corruption, adultery and public drunkenness in the region of Ben Smim.

It all started with information received by the gendarmes about a hostel whose license was withdrawn in 2017. On the orders of the prosecutor’s office of the Azrou Court of First Instance, they began an investigation. The elements of the Royal Gendarmerie of the city of Azrou set a trap and arrived at the hostel. This was followed by the arrest of its occupants caught red-handed in corruption, adultery and public drunkenness. There are 5 women, three of whom are married, and 5 married men. The owner of the hostel is accused of having offered prostitution services.
