Attempted murder of Sofiane Hambli: his wife acquitted, two accomplices convicted

The Tangier Court of Appeal on Thursday acquitted the wife of drug lord Sofiane Hambli, accused of conspiracy and attempted murder of her husband in the Achakar region.

Hambli had accused his wife of trying to kill him with the complicity of her lover and another person, after he was the victim of a violent attack in a station located in the Achakar region in Tangier. An attack in which he lost his fingers and which led to his arrest after being admitted to a clinic under a false identity.
