Attack on Lamine Yamal’s father: revenge on the part of the Moroccans?

Is Mounir Nasraoui, Lamine Yamal’s father, paying the price for his son’s choice to play for the Spanish national team over the Atlas Lions? This is one of the hypotheses favoured by the Mossos d’Esquadra, who are continuing their investigation into the knife attack he suffered on Wednesday in the Rocafonda district of Mataró (Barcelona).

Mounir Nasraoui was stabbed twice in the abdomen in the street on Wednesday night and was transferred to the Can Ruti hospital in Badalona where he is recovering. Three individuals who had an altercation with the father of the Barça star earlier in the day have been arrested as the alleged perpetrators of the attack.
