Assia, a 21-year-old woman living in Vélizy-Villacoublay (Yvelines), had a shock while preparing her wedding with her partner. She discovered that she was already married because her identity had been stolen.

Although she had planned to get married at the end of October, Assia ran into an administrative imbroglio: another woman got married under her identity on August 10 at the Noisy-le-Sec town hall. After negotiation, she obtained the name of the man she was supposed to be married to and obtained the administrative file of her union. His name was: Amine A., a man she did not know.
