An MRE on vacation kills his grandmother: the reasons for an incomprehensible act

A family tragedy shook the city of Fez last Monday. A thirty-year-old MRE was arrested for the murder of his grandmother at her home on the Ain Chqef road. The suspect, on vacation in his hometown, is said to have committed this atrocious act due to mental disorders, addiction and family tensions.

The murder took place on Sunday evening, around 11pm. The man allegedly killed his grandmother before being arrested by the police. The victim’s body was taken to the morgue of El Ghassani hospital for an autopsy.
