Amputee in Serbia, a Moroccan demands justice
A young Moroccan, Chahid Bouayadi, is waiting for justice after being the victim of violence at the hands of Serbian border guards almost a year ago. The case, which led to the amputation of both of his legs, is currently being examined by the Serbian justice system in the town of Pirot.
Bouayadi was with a group of migrants trying to cross the border between Bulgaria and Serbia when he was attacked. The organization “Twiza”, based in Germany, has taken up the matter and is providing its support.
