AML provides resources for the return of MREs

The ferry shipping company Africa Morocco Link (AML) intends to contribute to the success of the Marhaba operation marking the return of Moroccans living abroad (MRE) to Morocco. It has “put in place a reinforced system, with a new line offering a diversified offer adapted to the needs of travelers.”

In a press release, AML specifies that it has mobilized significant resources to operate the Tangier Med-Algeciras and Tangier City – Tarifa maritime lines, with a daily capacity of more than 30,000 passengers and 7,000 vehicles per day, while ensuring a quality service during this operation. The company is operating the new Tangier City – Tarifa line this summer with two boats, Morocco Express 1 and Maria Dolores, each with a capacity of 650 passengers and 70 vehicles, the same source further specifies, ensuring that around twenty daily departures are provided on this line. Regarding the Tangier Med – Algeciras line, four ships, including three conventional ones and a fast ferry, operate with capacities ranging from 750 to 1,200 passengers and 200 to 400 vehicles per boat, ensuring 26 daily crossings, the same source said.
