Algerian Woman Posing as Moroccan Arrested Near Sebta

An Algerian woman claiming to be Moroccan and poor was arrested along with two other women, one of whom was pregnant, by the royal gendarmerie services in the Belyounech region.

The arrested woman recently appeared in tears on social media. She explained that she had considered illegal immigration to Europe, in front of the Bab Sebta border post because of her difficult living conditions and her son’s illness. In statements published online, she claimed that she was living in difficult conditions, suffering from her son’s illness and needed help. Many Moroccan internet users do not believe her story.
