Algerian dates disguised as Tunisian dates in Morocco

Morocco consumes more and more Tunisian dates. Last December, the Shereef Kingdom became the leading importer of this fruit, absorbing nearly 20% of Tunisian exports.

This commercial success is confirmed by figures from the Tunisian National Observatory of Agriculture. Over the first three months of the 2024/2025 season, date exports increased by 10% compared to the previous season, reaching 51,000 tonnes.
