Algerian dates blocked on the Moroccan border

A few weeks before Ramadan, Algerian exporters of dates are sounding the alarm. Their famous variety deglet nour, usually very popular in Morocco, finds itself blocked on the border.

A producer points to the degradation of diplomatic relations between the two countries: closure of Algerian airspace to Moroccan planes, blocking of commercial transactions by Algerian banks … So many measures which, according to him, paralyze the export of dates to Morocco.
