Algeria accuses Cheb Khaled of spying for Morocco
The famous raï singer, Cheb Khaled, is reportedly wanted by the Algerian justice system. The star would be involved in a espionage affair for the benefit of Morocco.
The information is reported by Algerian journalist Abdou Semmar, founder of the media Algériepart, residing in France. Cheb Khaled is accused of spying for Morocco by Algeria, a country he has not visited since 2018. According to Abdou Semmar, the king of raï received on October 18, through the lawyer from his record company in France, a note from the Bir Mourad Raïs court in Algiers notifying him of his indictment in this espionage case. Sources confirmed to the Algerian journalist that it was the military court of Blida which would have transmitted this “damning” case against Cheb Khaled to the civil court of Bir Mourad Raïs.
