Al Hoceima gets rid of homeless and mentally ill people

Al Hoceima authorities are carrying out a sanitation campaign aimed at ridding the city of beggars and madmen in order to strengthen security and improve the quality of life of residents.

In collaboration with the security services, local authorities have been patrolling several key areas of the city where they have proceeded to arrest and transfer beggars to appropriate centers for their care. Similarly, mentally ill people wandering the streets have been transferred to specialized hospitals to receive the necessary medical care.
