Al Hoceima: a nightmarish stay for Portuguese tourists
The Portuguese travel agency Abreu has announced the cancellation of all trips to Al Hoceima, as well as the removal from its website of all promotional offers related to the region. A decision that will have a definite negative impact on tourism in this Moroccan city.
Abreu took this decision following complaints from some guests who recently visited Al Hoceima and who have bad memories of it. Last week, 52 Portuguese tourists were staying in the city where they allegedly had a bad experience. Although they had booked rooms at the Radisson Blu hotel in Al Hoceima, they were forced to wait for hours before being checked in, as some of the rooms were occupied when they arrived.
