Air Arabia Maroc plane urgently diverted

An Air Arabia Maroc plane flying from Tangier to Barcelona was diverted to Casablanca on Friday after hitting a bird in mid-flight.

The plane, an Airbus A320-200, was forced to land at Casablanca airport following a collision with a bird at an altitude of around 3,000 m, the specialist website reports. Herald of Aviationstating that the aircraft landed without incident.
