Aïcha, 92, evicted from her home in Montpellier

Aïcha, a 92-year-old woman, was evicted from her social housing in Montpellier (Hérault). And for good reason, the apartment would have been used for drug trafficking purposes. The person concerned categorically denies it.

The nonagenarian, who has lived in this apartment for 23 years, was evicted Thursday on suspicion of using the premises for drug trafficking. “Making your apartment a place for storing drugs, a reception point for dealers and lookouts, amounts to participating and contributing to the perpetuation of drug trafficking,” explained the prefecture of Hérault on Thursday in a post on x.
