Achraf Hakimi angry with the Moroccan public

The captain of the Moroccan national team, Achraf Hakimi, strongly criticized the behavior of some of the supporters during the opening match of the Olympic Games against Argentina. The incidents that occurred at the end of the match tarnished the beautiful victory of the Atlas Lions.

Despite Morocco’s victory over Argentina (2-1), the match was marked by scenes of chaos at the end of the game. Argentina’s equalizer in added time led to a pitch invasion by some Moroccan supporters, as well as the throwing of projectiles. These incidents forced the referee to interrupt the match for nearly two hours.
