Abdelilah Benkirane’s confidences about King Mohammed VI

The Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party (PJD), Abdelilah Benkiranerecently confided that he had repeatedly asked King Mohammed VI to remove him from his position as Head of Government.

“Without exaggerating, I would say that I asked to be removed from the presidency of the government about five or six times…”, Benkirane said, during the gathering of his party’s youth in Bouznika last weekend. He said he had asked to leave after the scandal over the specifications of public channels broke out under Minister Mustapha El Khalfi.
