A wind of revolt within the Atlas Lions?

Binational players of Moroccan origin playing in Europe are reportedly considering reconsidering their decision to play for the Atlas Lions to wear the jersey of the national team of their country of birth due to what they consider to be “marginalization and an exclusion” from the national coach, Walid Regragui.

Many binational players are considering giving up defending the colors of Morocco and joining the national team of their countries of birth or their second parents. Several of them playing in the Netherlands and Belgium would have decided to reconsider their choice to play for Morocco, due to the marginalization they believe they will be subject to from Walid Regragui who is slow to call on them.
