A veiled student refused entry into a French school in Morocco

A Moroccan student was refused entry into the second year of high school at the Léon l’Africain establishment, a school affiliated with the French mission in Rabat. Reason given? Wearing the veil.

The incident caused an outcry among the student’s family, but also among parents of students at the establishment.
