A new terminal at Casablanca airport

Morocco is actively preparing for the organization of the 2030 Football World Cup. The Minister of Transport and Logistics, Abdessamad Kayouh, announced a major project: the construction of a new terminal at Mohammed Airport V from Casablanca. This infrastructure, intended for long-haul flights of Royal Air Maroc (RAM), should be finalized in 2029.
During a session in the House of Advisors, the minister detailed the Kingdom’s ambitions in terms of airport modernization. The future terminal at Mohammed V airport will significantly increase its reception capacity. It is planned to manage an annual flow of 45 million passengers, compared to 15 million at present.
