A new form of scam is currently raging in Marrakech. Non -approved tourist guides have found a trick to escape the authorities. They brandish false medical certificates to avoid arrest.

This stratagem follows an incident on December 23. An illegal, diabetic guide had passed out after his arrest at the tourist brigade in Place Jemaa El-Fna. He died a few days later, despite his sentence to a prison sentence, relates Kech24.
