A MRE dispossessed of his villa in Marrakech

A Moroccan residing in France calls on the liaison magistrate at the Moroccan embassy in Paris to lend him a hand in recovering his villa in Marrakech which was sold at auction as part of a case opposing him to a lady . He accuses a notary of “falsifying valuation” of real estate.

Mohamed Guessous is afraid of permanently losing the villa he owns in Marrakech. It all started with the promise to sell his apartment located in the Souissi district in Rabat, on March 5, 2010. At the time, he signed a promise to sell with a woman named “AB” for an amount of 3,500,000 dirhams. . The lady paid him a deposit of 850,000 dirhams. The sales deadline was set for June 1, 2010, before the deadline was extended until December 6 of the same year via an amendment to the promise of sale drawn up by the same notary. But the buyer has since disappeared. It was only in February 2011 that she contacted the seller again.
