A Moroccan risks his life to try to save his neighbors from a fire in Anderlecht
Younes Agouram, a young undocumented migrant of Moroccan origin, burned his hands while saving neighbors from a fire which broke out during the night from Thursday to Friday, rue de Fiennes in Anderlecht.
The 20-year-old young man did not hesitate to climb onto the balcony of the burning house to help the victims. “I burned my hands on the balcony railing, which was hot because of the fire,” he confided to La Derniere Heure, before adding: “We managed to get someone out from their window, others jumped, fortunately there was the green tarpaulin from the store to cushion the fall.”
