A Moroccan nightclub at the heart of a controversy in Spain
The Fatima Ino club, a Moroccan nightclub, plans to organize an event on January 18 in Torremolinos from which it has expressly excluded homosexuals. A discrimination which sparked heated controversy in the city.
It was the mayor of Torremolinos, Margarita del Cid, who published on Thursday on her social networks a screenshot of the rules of the Fatima Ino club for the event, informs El Pais. “No fights, drugs, caps, flip-flops… and p*”, we can read on the poster. It also states that any “irresponsible or aggressive” behavior will result in immediate expulsion. “Hate and homophobia have no place here and we will do everything in our power to ban this event and any club activity that promotes this regrettable attitude,” responded the city councilor.
