A Moroccan family network dismantled in Lot-et-Garonne

The gendarmes of the Bouliac Research Brigade dismantled a network ofexploitation of farm workers. Six people were indicted on Thursday, December 12, including a Moroccan couple placed in pre-trial detention.

The case began at the end of 2023 with the filing of 22 complaints against the same family which recruited agricultural workers in Morocco. Their method? Promise attractive salaries, suitable accommodation and proper papers. In reality, the victims had to pay a large sum before leaving and finance their trip.
