A Moroccan consulate in Spain condemned
The Moroccan Consulate in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) finds itself at the heart of a controversy following two judgments handed down by the city’s courts. These decisions follow complaints filed by two employees, contesting the modification of their working conditions imposed by the current consul, Fatiha El Kamouri, since she took office in September 2022.
One of the complainants, a first category maintenance agent employed since 2008, saw his responsibilities radically changed. While he was previously in charge of managing the cash register, archives and welcoming citizens, he was assigned to the position of driver of the consulate with required availability 24/7, reports ElDiario.es.
