A Moroccan city among the favorite destinations of the French

For the fourth consecutive year, Marrakech is at the top of the French’s favorite destinations in 2024, according to a study by Liligo, in partnership with the Opinion Way polling institute which announces that the Moroccan city will maintain this position in 2025.

Marrakech and Bangkok will be the most popular destinations for French people in 2025, indicates the study which notes that 72% of French people have traveled in 2024, i.e. 2 points more compared to 2023. For the fourth consecutive year, the ocher city is remained the preferred destination of the French in 2024 with an average round trip at 237 euros per person, an amount slightly increasing compared to the previous year. According to the study, many French people surveyed traveled by plane (35% versus 31% in 2023), by car (77% versus 78%) and by train (29% versus 32% last year).
