Morocco is working on the expansion and redevelopment of Fez-Saïss airport in preparation for the 2030 World Cup, which it will co-organize alongside Spain and Portugal. In this sense, the National Airports Office (ONDA) has launched a call for tenders with pre-selection.

The National Office of Airports (ONDA) has officially launched a call for tenders with pre-selection for the realization of these works, the budget of which is estimated at 500 million dirhams (MDH), reports ChallengeThe project includes a passenger terminal with a surface area of approximately 46,000 m², including the extension, which will consist of two levels. Spread over an area of 13,590 m², the basement level will house the baggage sorting system, technical premises, baggage sorting support premises, of which 6,645 m² already exist, and 6,945 m² dedicated to the extension.
