A major French club and the Saudis fight over Soufiane Rahimi

The list of suitors for the Moroccan striker from Al Ain, Soufiane Rahimitop scorer of the men’s tournament of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, is expanding.

PSG wants to secure the services of Soufiane Rahimi, after his brilliant participation in the men’s football tournament of the Paris Olympic Games. Top scorer of the men’s tournament of the Paris-2024 Olympic Games with eight goals, he helped lead the Moroccan Olympic team to its first bronze medal. In a post on his X account, a journalist specified that PSG wants to recruit the Moroccan striker from Al-Ain and has already presented a tempting offer for the player, whose market value exceeds 8 million euros. His contract with the Emirati club runs until June 2025. Before PSG, several European clubs have expressed their interest in Soufiane. These are: Lyon in France, Villarreal in Spain and Stuttgart in Germany. Saudi clubs such as Ittihad and Al Nassr have also expressed their intention to enlist the Moroccan striker in order to strengthen their squad before the new season.
