A Kenitra notary at the heart of a financial scandal

A famous notary practicing in Kenitra is accused of fraud by the municipality and two banking institutions. His trial will open on September 16 before the criminal chamber of the Rabat Court of Appeal, responsible for financial crimes.

The accused is accused of fraud, embezzlement of public funds and breach of trust. The urban municipality of Kenitra accuses him of “having gotten his hands on the sum of 4 million dirhams after having ensured the transaction of a plot of land that the local authority had transferred to a company”, reports Assabah.
