A giant Moroccan wedding in Casablanca

Casablanca is preparing to host an extraordinary event: “the biggest wedding in the world”. On December 7, the Mohammed V sports complex will be transformed into a giant stage to celebrate Moroccan traditions through the reconstruction of a traditional wedding.

The organizers promise total immersion in ancestral Moroccan customs. From henna to outfits, including traditional music, each stage of the Moroccan wedding will be recreated. The public will be divided into two camps: the bride’s family and the groom’s family. Together, they will make key decisions, such as the amount of the dowry or the choice of orchestra.
