A French company lands a big contract in northern Morocco
The French group NGE, specializing in construction and public works, recently won a contract worth 111 million dirhams for the construction of a 52 km railway line to connect the port of Nador West to the city of Selouane.
The award of this contract to the French company follows the call for tenders launched last August by the National Railway Office (ONCF). It comes a few days before the visit to Rabat of French President Emmanuel Macron, who will be accompanied by a strong delegation made up of senior officials and business leaders operating in various sectors and wishing to participate in projects planned as part of the organization of the 2030 World Cup that Morocco is organizing alongside Spain and Portugal.
