Samir Hajije, municipal councilor in Toulouse, claimed to have been “beaten up” last Friday, during a conference organized by the CGT on the struggle of the Sahrawi people. A version which does not seem to be verified, the case having been closed without further action.
The incident occurred at the Toulouse Labor Exchange, where the CGT conference took place. According to witnesses, Samir Hajije and around ten people who accompanied him tried to cause trouble during this conference, which would have pushed the CGT security service to expel them.
