A contract four times lower: Abdelhamid Sabiri reveals Al-Fayha’s shocking offer

The Moroccan international Abdelhamid Sabiri explains the reasons for his departure from the Al-Fayha club in Saudi Arabia to join Fiorentina in Italy.

“In truth, I wanted to stay with Al-Fayha. I waited three months to sign the contract that we had already agreed on, but in the end, they called me and offered me a contract four times lower than last season’s,” Abdelhamid Sabiri said in an interview with Arriyadiyah. However, there was no shortage of interesting offers during these three months of waiting for the signing of the contract with Al-Fayha, he assures, specifying that he declined all these offers coming from other Saudi clubs because he “wanted to stay with Al-Fayha.”
