A 13-year-old Moroccan girl mutilated in Brussels

Amina Thimou, 13, will have to live the rest of her life with four fingers missing. The little girl of Moroccan origin tried to throw one of the fireworks set off by minors towards the balcony of the apartment where she lives with her parents and her brother, in the city center of Brussels.

After a surgical procedure that lasted eight hours, Amina found herself without four of her fingers. “I thank the boys who harassed my son and who hurt my dear daughter for life,” his father said ironically.
