FIFA is considering reducing the number of stadiums selected to host the 2030 World Cup that Morocco will co-host alongside Spain and Portugal. A Moroccan stadium could be excluded from tournament plans.
FIFA considers that the number of stadiums (20) selected to host the 2030 World Cup is too high and is “considering the possibility of excluding three stadiums – two from Spain and one from Morocco,” it understands.
