100 billion dirhams: tax amnesty breaks all records in Morocco

100 billion dirhams. This is the total amount of assets declared as part of the tax amnesty in Morocco as of January 1, 2025.

This amount was 50 billion dirhams on December 31, 2024, according to a provisional balance sheet revealed by Le360. In the space of 24 hours, it reached double, or 100 billion dirhams, including 60 billion deposited with banks and nearly 40 billion in the form of real estate acquisitions and contributions to associates’ current accounts, indicates the same source.
